A well-established team with many years of experience offers you assistance in all areas related to the production of hazardous chemicals, trade in hazardous chemicals, storage of hazardous chemicals or the use of hazardous chemicals.

Do you require UFI and a confirmation of a completed PCN submission?

We offer services as an external partner for YOU:

  • We create a user account on the ECHA portal
  • We generate UFI for each individual hazardous mixture
  • We enter the data on the PCN portal and obtain a confirmation of the completed PCN notification for the hazardous chemical.

Contact us and we will prepare an offer for you. You can read more information about the procedure and the legal basis here: UFI and poison centre notifications (PCN)

Material safety data sheet or MSDS

In order to implement the necessary measures to protect human health and the environment, a legal or natural person who places a chemical on the market as a manufacturer or importer must provide a safety data sheet in accordance with the Chemicals Act and forward it to the Chemicals Office.

If your import dangerous chemicals to Slovenia, YOU are responsible for safety data sheet and not the manufacturer. Safety data sheets and their compliance with all regulations are regularly checked by the Chemicals Office, so choose your Chemical Advisor carefully.

You can read more information about safety data sheets here: Material safety data sheet or MSDS

Biocides and types of biocidal products

Are you selling and/or importing biocidal products, such as hand sanitizers, surface disinfectors, or insecticides, inside EU? If you want to sell them in Slovenia you need to have your papers in order.

Check different product types to see if your product is one of them:

  • Main group 1: Disinfectants
  • Main group 2: Preservatives
  • Main group 3: Pest control
  • Main group 4: Other biocidal products

Information on the type of products within each group and the specific conditions can be obtained here: Biocides and types of biocidal products

Labels and tactile warnings

The labels must be made in accordance with Material safety data sheet (MSDS) and in accordance with the Chemicals Act. Complete graphic design for the label includes information from the Waste Management Act and its associated regulations and Consumer protection act.

In certain cases, the label must also bear a tactile warning. We also offer the preparation of durable resistant labels, which are also useful for the outside.

More information about labels and their production can be found here: Labels and tactile warnings
